Dom:During the teacher's the long monotonous tirade about the legal ramifications of censorship, was the only still awake and listening intently while he took notes so quickly the page was smoking.
Allan: Allan wasn't even awake yet. Bedtime for him was usually 5 or 6 am or whenever everyone else quit drinking, and it was never in a bed.

Avalon shook her head. "Oh, no, it isn't for a while, yet. You have plenty of time. There's no need to hurry on my account." Though pleasant, her voice was a little surprised, as though she had been lost in thought was was pulled out of that by Sylvan and Vesdel mentioning her classes. "Enjoy your food, take your time. I'll tidy up and then we can all be on our way. After all, it is your first meal out of hell. you should enjoy it." her voice was playful and warm, and her smile did not falter even once. Sylvan, sipping his own tea, leaning against her ever so slightly, did not seem to notice or care about her distraction. The young woman shifted in her seat and shifted her shirt a little. It was a rather nice blouse, but it had a very deep slit in the front that she almost did not seem to know was there.
"There will be other people working with us, but I have not gotten in contact with them, you are so far the first." Sylvan said with a nod to Vesdel. "I do not think that it will be long, but I will keep you posted on our plans, and on them." He said with a smile.

Aya: "yeah kay..." Aya closed her cell phone and swore under her breath, one day she would see where he worked. Well now what was she supposed to do for the rest of the day? She sighed and decided to go to the local cafe for a coffee while she waited for Simon to get out of class. Stuffing her cellphone in her pocket she set out for the cafe with a smile on her face.
Brand: Brand rolled his eyes with a grin. "relax Rae I'll be with you in a second." he laughed quietly as he leaned the board up in the display. With that done he turned to her. "now what you gettin today babe?" He moved back to his stool behind the register and plopped down in front of the open surfing magazine, his eyes on Rae the entire time.

Sylvan, Avalon and Vesdel made small talk while the man finished his food, and true to her word, Avalon swept up the mess swiftly and happily, tidying up quickly before getting her things for class. His apartment wasn't far from her college campus, and it took them only a few moments to get there and drop her off. Avalon took the back seat, and she gave Vesdel a kiss on the cheek. "Nice to meet you, Vesdel. I'll see you later tonight, I'm sure."
"Be good, darling." Sylvan said, partially turning back to her. Avalon, beaming, kissed his lips. "Always, master. I'll catch the bus when my classes are done, so don't worry about picking me up." She stepped out of the car, brushed her hair back over her shoulders, and gave them a little wave as they drove off.
Sylvan's little base, as it was, was a very cleverly hidden little operation. A side road, marked as closed for road work, lead to a broken down, abandoned construction complex. Most cars used the road to turn around and get back on to the main street, but, with utter confidence, Sylvan pulled into the parking lot, around the back of the old building and under an overhang. When he parked the car, he smiled briefly at Vesdel. "It does not look like much, but I promise it is a little more hospitable on the inside."
What he said was true. Though the first door revealed nothing more than a dusty, not-quite empty warehouse, the ceiling broken at the other end and the plaster walls half-crumbled. Sylvan, in his simple but sharp clothes, and Vesdel in a more relaxed version of the same, looked horridly out of place. Sylvan walked over to a still-barely-standing supply closet, and opened the door to a flight of dusty stairs.
Going down them revealed something completely different. The room was clean, well-lit, and organized. Sylvan turned to look at his guest. "A nice little hiding spot, no? There is a room for you here to stay." He opened one of the doors and inside was a medium-sized room, plain but comfortable enough looking. "We'll be sure to get you more changes of clothes and the like, don't worry. Besides what I need for my...ahem...business, there is everything we could think of that would let you live comfortably." He was smiling, and though it was a restrained and polite gesture, he was admittedly a little pleased with himself.

First kiss from a beautiful woman since his trip to Hell? Ignored it, or so he seemed to. Instead of being cruelly brushed off he seemed altogether unaware of the peck even happening. The smooch fell on dead skin, and dead nerves. It wasn't until he noticed the pressure against his face that he registered it, and he responded appropriately. He didn't know it still works.
The rest of the car ride was awkward. He was actually glad to get to the sketchy abandoned warehouse sort of dealy. For a villain of Sylvan's callibur and sophistication, he seemed to have an affinity for obvious, cartoon hideouts. An abandoned warehouse? That was basically the scene for every and any atrocity ever committed in every movie ever to grace the big scene. He followed Sylvan quietly, mostly unimpressed until he reached the basement.
Here we go. For a minute there Sylvan almost had him. This would do just fine. "Oooh yessss, thissss isss vehery niccce. Thank you." He said walking into the room, looking around and admiring it."How do I accccessss the facccilitiesss? Do I get my vehry owhn ssset of keysss?"

"Ah, yes, keys, i almost forgot." Sylvan reached into the pocket of his slacks, fishing around for the set. It had two keys on it, and he held them out to Vesdel. "One for the main door, and one for your room. Right now you, and occasionally Avalon and myself, will be the only occupants. And, since most of the time Avalon and I will be sleeping at home, you're going to have run of the place." He smiled.
"I can show you the rest of it. Bathroom is right next to your room, shower and everything. There are other rooms, for any others I might end up employing in the near future. Down that way is the kitchen, " He said, pointing down the hall, "There are also rooms necessary for my plans, of course. A room equipped with video feed from certain important places, one for planning that holds blueprints and the like, bureaucratic nonsense." He shrugged, exiting the room and moving down the hall. "And... a laboratory for you, of course... Right now, I am afraid, it is dreadfully understocked, as I have not the faintest idea what you might need..." He opened the door, but did not enter the room, instead leaning on the frame and looking inside. There were many lights, a great big table, and a big cupboard, and little else. "I am sure you can help us bring some life to it, no?" He was worried of what Vesdel might think of his currently very meager facilities, but the man seemed to be looking at the situation with a critical eye, which Sylvan was appreciative of. He was not the typical super-villain type. Big, stand-out bases would do nothing to help his cause. Simple, modern and easy to hide would do him a lot more good.

"Thanksss" He followed Sylvan for hi grand tour of his base of evil operations, nodding in approval at everything he showed him. Kitchen? Nice, his own bathroom? Beautiful, the lab?
Well it would need some work, luckily Vesdel didn't feel like getting his science on just yet. In fact, for the next little bit the bedroom bathroom and kitchen would be seeing the most use, he desperately needed hygiene, food and sleep. " I nheed whhat you nheed, Ahm noht doihng thisss fohr me." Sylvan hired him with a cause and purpose but didn't know what he needed? Was his summoning him just a generalization? "H'if you sssupply the hequipment Ah'll do whhat Ahm asssked. Ah haven't the meansss to obtain it messshelf hanyhow. You know that." He said a matter of factly.

Sylvan nodded. "I understand. But chemistry is very far out of my area of knowledge. If I gave you a list of ideals, you know, things that I'd like you to work towards, do you think that would help you make a list of what you needed to work with?" He asked. "But I don't expect you to start working immediately. I need time to get you what you need, and you need time to rest a bit." He didn't know about Vesdel's previous discomfort. If he had, their conversation would likely be going quite differently. As it was, though, his mind was on business instead. "Magic is my area of expertise, not chemistry, not really." He explained with a smile.
Charon: Charon hung up the phone, sliding it back into the pocket of his jeans. Classes should be ending soon, which meant that the hallways would soon be full of people. He didn't mind. He was good at navigating crowds. He pulled his backpack on and headed towards one of the cafeterias. He was starved. Hopefully he could beat most people to lunch.
Rae: "I dunno." Rae said with a smile, once his attention had moved to her. "I'm mostly here to bug you between classes. You know, I thought you could use the company, that's all. How has work been?"

Dom: The teacher sighed with his head in his hands. This wasn't some cop out bird course like art or drama, this wasn't a free credit. So why was it his class seem to be full of the most incompetent students around? "Does anyone OTHER than Dom know the answer?"
Allan: Allan stirred to life, his mouth was like a barf flavoured desert. He opened his eyes, and closed them again in an instant when the sun mercilessly assaulted them. "Mmmnnrr no."

Charon made his way to the cafeteria with zero trouble, though he was always on the look out for something. He was looking for both trouble, and food....and to avoid Aya. Not that he didn't like the girl, he adored her, but she wasn't going to give up bugging him about his job, and he didn't have a distraction on hand for her. So, he quickly bought food, and then ducked into another area of the college. Classes were going on, and he did his best to be quiet, unwrapping the sandwich he had bought and leaning against the wall, close enough to a door to dimly hear the lecture going on inside. Some sort of legal class, but it wasn't a law school... Maybe it was one of the law enforcement programs? Well, whatever, it made as good a place as any to eat next to.

It had been a few days since they had moved Vesdel in, giving him some time to rest up and settle in. Sylvan had Avalon had both been in and out intermittently, but they hadn't been looking for him yet. It was early afternoon on a Saturday when Sylvan did show up to call on him for real. He wasn't wearing his suit, though he had worn similar three piece suits every other day. Today, he was dressed in much more practical clothes...sort of. He wore dark jeans that seemed to be reinforced with some sort of heavier material, his neat hair was messy and disheveled, and he wore no glasses. His dress shirt had vanished as well, replaced with a white t-shirt unemblazoned by any sort of design. He also wore a black, almost punk-looking jacket, made out of similar reinforced material to hi sjeans. In other words, well, he looked anything but like himself. With a smile on his lips that made him look younger than he was, he slid into Vesdel's view and winked. "What do you think? Quite a change, hm?~" He said, sounding pleased. He has a mask as well, but that was for later.
"I'm just stopping by to let you know to keep an eye on the news. Today Avalon and I are going to go stir up some trouble. We want to see what sort of defenses we are going to have to deal with, so this is sort of our test run, before the real work starts." He explained. "Speaking of which, have you seen her around? I've had a devil of a time keeping track of her today." He smiled.

After a couple of days of proper rest and good meals Vesdel's mood had lightened up considerably, although he still managed to maintain some of his dry forthright attitude. Needless to say he was surprised by Sylvan's fashion choice. He was so used to him looking like a mix between a meek diminutive bookworm sort of character and a sleek well dressed socialite, now he looked like he just came from 21 Jump Street.
"I'll sssay."
Of course Vesdel couldn't say much for himself, wearing only boxers and a baggy t shirt. He had slept in. "Can't sssay Ah've had th-the pleasssure. Whahat isss your plahan?"

Sylvan wasn't bothered by Vesdel's state of dress. He hadn't brought the man in for much other than his mind, and Sylvan was pretty sure that would work regardless of what he wore. "Pretty much, we're going downtown to wreck destructive havoc. It'll give us a good indication of what kind of defenses we are going to have to deal with for the rest of the plan to work. No real goal other than to see what we're getting in to, and what we have to plan around. Getting our feet wet, as it were." He said pleasantly.
"You, today, don't have to do anything, but, tomorrow, I'd very much like to go over what you can work on for the next little while, sound good to you?" He asked. At that, Avalon made herself known, flouncing out from somewhere down the hall. Sylvan gave her a quick, almost playful 'where the hell have you been' sort of look before smiling at her. Like Sylvan her normal dark, dressy clothes had been swapped out for what looked to be some sort of cheerleader uniform. Her logic was that it was just as far as she could get from her usual clothes... without her having to put too many of them on.
"Hehe, Hi mater, hi Vesdel~" She bounced over to the both of them, her black hair in pigtails. Sylvan had already knew what she was going to wear, but the eye-watering pink and white candy stripes still surprised him. "Did he tell you? We're going out to cause trouble!" She was, pretty obviously, a little excited and she slid right up close to Vesdel, her hands on his shoulder as she gave him a kiss on the cheek just as she had before. "Wish us luck? I'll hurt someone for you if you want~"
Sylvan laughed and shook his head. "He'll have plenty of chances to do that himself when he gets to work, if he likes." He pointed out. Avalon stuck her tongue out at him, kissed Vesdel's other cheek, and bounced happily to Sylvan's side. "It feels like Hallowe'en, master." She giggled. "But at least today I won't have to deal with whining little kids wanting candy."

Vesdel's eyes squinted, and he raised a sparsely haired eyebrow in suspicious. This man blew up a building full of innocent civilians and was still standing before him, what defenses was he talking about?
"Y-yesss of courssse but Ssssir." He fiddled with his fingers nervously."W-what defensssesss ahre you tahlking about?" His eyes bounced along Avalons...boisterous lively well endowed stride, and he stood there twiddling his fingers, possible blushing (it might just be the burns) and standing aside awkwardly while they exchanged coos and googly eyes with eachother.
"G-good luck!"

Sylvan looked to Vesdel to explain, not seeming bothered by the man's confusion. "Well, I'm not going to be available to run all of the distractions myself, and I'd prefer to keep Avalon out of the front lines. But, if I am going to summon things to be appropriate distractions, I want to know what they are going up against so I can time it out correctly. People have a tendency to surprise, and I want to give them as little a chance to do that to us as possible." He smiled.
"You don't have to worry about me so much, Master." Avalon chided gently.
Sylvan shrugged. "You are my responsibility, my pet." He said simply. "Anyways. That's the idea. We don't know what we are going up against yet, so this is to find out what humanity is going to pit against us. With that knowledge, I can plan future distractions to keep attention away from our activities. The distraction in question is actually us going to...ahem... retrieve another employee." he laughed a bit. "You'll get to meet him later."
